Organic Range

Our short sleeved tee-shirts, long sleeve baseball t-shirts and new knotted hats are produced from 100% organic cotton in Turkey following the strict guidelines set by The Soil Association, and the Fair Wear Foundation which ensures fair trade.

All other organic garments (including hats) are made from 100% certified* organic cotton grown in Uganda.

Our range uses certified GMO free organic cotton grown and harvested without pesticides and chemical fertilizers in ‘living soil’ that has been free of any toxic chemicals for at least three years. This means that the soil and water supply are cleaner, which in turn protects the local community and wildlife.

The resulting organic cotton is then processed into fabric without the use of synthetic chemicals. It is kinder to the land and has exceptional softness, elasticity and is gentler on even the most sensitive of skin.

The benefits of organic cotton also extend to the cotton farmers themselves, who in using only organic fertilizers and natural pesticides, are protected from accidents and ill health, which can be the side effects of handling these hazardous chemicals. And because they are paid a premium price for growing these crops, they are able to lift themselves out of debt and improve their families’ standards of living.

A baby’s skin is very delicate and particularly vulnerable to environmental irritants. Our 100% certified GMO free organic cotton range, provides a more gentle alternative that ensure no pesticides or chemical residues remain in the fabric that might irritate a newborn’s sensitive skin.
